Description and Duties:  Registered Respiratory Therapist to assist in respiratory procedures in a myriad of clinical care environments.  The employee will provide RRT services with the responsibility for independently administering complex respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to critically ill patients.  The RRT sets up and monitors a variety of complex respiratory equipment on the basis of patient assessment and blood gas data, independently makes adjustments to ventilator settings in order to change the patient's ventilatory status.  The RRT applies advanced ventilatory techniques such as PEEP, SIMV and CPAP, etc. 16 week assignment.   Please call for full job description.

Qualifications:  Personnel shall have a full and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.  The employee shall be licensed and posses an RRT Credential as issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).  Personnel must be computer literate as patient documentation is directly input in the patient's electronic medical record.
